After graduating from college in art & design, I took the first job open and started learning the garage door installation business from the ground up. This meant contending with low overhead installations, using double track systems, Quick Flex & Quick Turn brackets and the like; poorly designed installation hardware to say the least, not overly effective, and in some cases simply dangerous. There had to be a better way. But there wasn’t. So, I tackled the problem myself and SUPER SNEAKY low overhead brackets were born. It was a challenge because the new hinges had to have certain capabilities like

Fit a standard lift door & operator into 6″ of headroom – even lower in special circumstances – without major modifications.

Utilize a 15″ curve radius horizontal for maximum smoothness while working on a 12″ curve radius.

Accommodate all door panel sizes, designs, and materials, using no springs or adjustments, while being self positioning and absolutely installation friendly.

SUPER SNEAKY low overhead hinges had to be user friendly for the DIY homeowner & profitable for the professional dealer installer – who can now take low overhead jobs he would otherwise have turned down and I am pleased to report thousands of satisfied users in 6 countries think we have accomplished our goals.
